NHL Hockey Season For 2010-2011

NHL Hockey, it is upon soon.  You know that I am a huge hockey fan right?  I play the sport sometimes.  I was never good at ice hockey, but I was always good at roller hockey.  That doesn’t mean I can’t be a fan of the National Hockey League does it?  Of course not.  Over the years I’ve had a few favorite teams.  Right now, its the Flyers.  I used to like the Avalanche a long time ago though.  You know, that team that used to be from Quebec.  So, as I sit here and think about all the cool hockey games I’m going to be able to watch this winter, I can’t help but wonder if we will see any really standout rookies.  There’s got to be players from college hockey coming over into the NHL.  Does anyone have any names that might fit the bill.

I’ve always liked college hockey, but the NHL provides more entertainment value.  Usually College players need a year or two to get used to the NHL’s level of playing.  Very rarely does someone come in and dominate the league.  Every once and awhile it happens, but most of the time you get the feeling, “This kid’s gonna be good.” rather than “This kid’s good.”  Does anyone have clue about what I am talking about or am I the only one?  There’s got to be some hockey fans or roller hockey players out there that agree with me!  I also wonder how those college guys work on their fighting skills since there really is no fighting in college hockey.

So, who does everyone think will be the best NHL team this season.  I think the Flyers, the Penguins and a couple of other teams will impress.  Who knows, some crappy team may just get an awesome draft pick.  Draft picks always had spice to NHL teams.  So, does everyone agree about this upcoming NHL season?
